Tried to post this last week, but wouldn’t work. But here is a look at what it takes to put beehives together. The Stubblefield’s garage sounded like Santa’s workshop as I approached. Thanks to all who helped build homes for Fair Share Farm’s newest live-ins.
It was fun! Thanks, Tom, for a good clip of all the hammering that went on that day, and a good visual of how the hives go together. Keith calculated that the 8 of us pounded approximately 2100 nails in 4 hours, not including all those bent ones! We are very appreciative of the volunteers who took time out of their busy schedules to help us put the 5 hives together. Let us know if you have not signed up to be notified about all the bee activities throughout the year. Thanks!
